Free Reference
Yard Drainage Resources
Two free references: a source-dated national cost comparison by system type and a printable rain and photo log.
What these references are
These are working documents, not marketing. Each one exists to help you understand a yard drainage problem on your own terms — before you talk to anyone, and whether or not you ever request service. There is no email gate, no account, and nothing to buy. Read them, print them, and use them however is useful.
Everything here is either a source-dated summary of published national figures or a blank record you fill in yourself. Nothing on these pages invents a Huntsville price, a local average, or a promise about any specific property. Where a number comes from an outside guide, it is cited so you can check it directly.
Why they're free — and unsold
This is an independent publisher, not a contractor. That separation is the point: the references stay useful precisely because they aren't trying to sell you a system. You will not find phone buttons, quote forms, or a pitch inside this section. When a reference cites a cost, it frames it as a published national figure with a date and a link — never as what your yard "should" cost.
The goal is a fair starting point. A third-party provider is the one who confirms scope, availability, pricing, and terms for a real property. A reference that pretends otherwise would be worse than no reference at all.

National cost data
Yard Drainage Cost by System Type
Source-dated national ranges compared by system and by unit — per project and per linear foot — with methodology, inclusions, and honest limitations. No Huntsville average is invented.

Yard Drainage Rain & Photo Log
A printable one-page log for recording what your yard does during and after rain: fixed photo angles, where water starts, travels, and collects, plus follow-ups at 12, 24, and 48 hours.

Every consequential figure is traced to a dated, named source and recorded before publication. Cost ranges are attributed to published national guides; blank logs contain no claims at all. If you find a number you think is wrong or out of date, that is worth flagging — the correction process and the sourcing rules are described in the editorial standards.
