How Yard Drainage Service Requests Work

The steps, in order

1. You call or submit the form. You describe the drainage problem and the property location. Nothing is decided at this point — you are starting a request, not signing anything.
2. The request may be shared with a third-party provider. This site is an independent publisher that routes requests. A call or form submission may be shared with one or more independent providers that may be able to help.
3. The provider contacts you. An independent provider — not this site — reaches out to confirm scope, availability, pricing, and terms for your specific property. They may ask questions, request photos, or schedule a look at the site.
4. You decide. You are not required to proceed. Any agreement to do work, and any payment, is strictly between you and the provider.

What this site never does

• It does not enter into contracts to perform drainage work. It is not a party to any agreement you reach with a provider.
• It does not collect payment for drainage work and does not process deposits or invoices.
• It does not promise a schedule, a completion date, or that a provider is available. Those are the provider's to confirm.
• It does not perform the work, supervise the provider, or stand behind the provider's results.

How to prepare

A request moves faster and more accurately when you can describe what the ground actually does. Before you call or submit the form, it helps to note:

• Where water first appears, where it travels, and where it collects
• How long standing water lingers after rain stops
• Whether the problem is water on the surface or soggy ground below it
• The property location and any known easements or public inlets nearby

Before any digging: Alabama 811

The person responsible for the excavation must ensure that any required Alabama 811 notice is submitted. Confirm in writing whether the provider or another responsible party will submit the locate request, check the required utility responses, preserve the markings, and arrange any private-line locating. For excavation covered by Alabama's damage-prevention law, notice must be submitted at least two and no more than ten working days before starting, excluding the notification day.

What data is shared

What gets shared with a provider is what you submit — the description of the problem, the property location, and your contact details — so a provider can follow up.
